Janelle Miller
Janelle graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in English Literature and Minor in Creative Writing. She recently returned to school to gain a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington. Through this program she felt drawn to developmental editing and working with individual authors. This led her to complete a Certification in Book Coaching from Author Accelerator.
Janelle grew up locally in the Pacific Northwest and considers it her greatest inspiration in her projects. She writes Young Adult Fiction and is currently working on finishing a manuscript. Her love of books and creativity makes her passionate about teaching others how to express themselves in their own words.
She loves exploring topics such as voice, themes, motifs, symbols, and syntax. She believes everyone has the capacity to write. Because of this she does not encourage the use of AI or ChatGPT. She wants to help students learn to think for themselves and know how to confidently use their own voice.
She is excited to tutor in English, composition, book analysis, creative writing, grammar, editing, and college admission essays.
