Heidi Langendorff
Heidi brings more than 40 years of experience in education, working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade in general education, special education, and academic intervention settings.
She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University, a graduate-level Special Education Endorsement from West Virginia University, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.
Heidi has worked with the Bainbridge Island School District since 2003, first at Woodward Middle School and, for the past 15 years, as an Academic Interventionist specializing in literacy for students in grades K–4.
Her tutoring uses a structured literacy approach with explicit, systematic, evidence-based instruction tailored to each student’s individual needs. Heidi’s goal is to help students strengthen essential reading and literacy skills while building greater confidence and success as learners.
